The Guard Service Association is an insurance safety group that works in partnership with the State Compensation Insurance Fund to lower the cost of workers’ compensation insurance.
The purpose of the Guard Service Association is to help its members reduce workers’ compensation claims by providing up-to-date workplace safety information and tracking our group’s loss trends.
Qualifying members of the Guard Service Association can receive a 6% annual premium rate reduction upon enrollment by State Compensation Insurance Fund. Members must pay a non-refundable annual fee (dues) of $100, effective September 01, 2008, and each year after, or upon enrollment for those joining after the policy renewal date of September 01, 2008, and each year after.
Criteria for membership in the Guard Service Association is determined by the State Compensation Insurance Fund and is based on a three year loss history.
