Welcome to Guard Service Association
The Guard Service Association is a trade association serving the security and recovery industries.
The Guard Service Association began in Southern California back in 1981 with the intent to organize like-minded business owners operating security and recovery companies for the purpose of creating group buying power for workers compensation insurance. By doing so, the Guard Service Association has saved its policy-participating members hundreds of thousands of dollars over the past three decades.
Over the years, the Guard Service Association has expanded its membership and scope of services to include all workers and businesses that are currently licensed under the California Dept. of Consumer Affairs (BSIS) Bureau of Security & Investigative Services to conduct security or recovery services.
Membership benefits of the Guard Service Association include business, client, and employment referrals, discounts on purchases offered through our affiliates, and safety seminars free for all members to attend. Executive membership includes access to our Certified Safety Professional via email, full access to our extensive media and print lending library, and useful safety products, kits, and materials distributed throughout the year at no additional cost.
Qualifying Executive members of the Guard Service Association can receive a 6% discount on workers compensation insurance upon enrollment in our State Compensation Insurance Fund Group 346 policy. Eligibility for participation in the Group 346 policy is determined by State Compensation Insurance Fund.
